1.Q. When is the volleyball tournament happening this year?

2. Q. What's happening this year?
A. Volley4Sound Coed 4's volleyball tournament, celebrity/pro auction, a silent auction, raffles, social media contests, t-shirt design contest, and much more! Please check out the registration tab to see how you can get involved this year.
3. Q. Can anyone register to play in coed 4's volleyball tournament?
A. Yes as long as you have 4 players on your team. Must have at least one female. All levels welcome. There is a Fun, AA and Open division.
4. Q. What's the difference in the level of play from Fun, AA and Open divisions?
A: Division Breakdown:
Unrated Division ("Jungle Ball")
This division is for players who have never played before or maybe only touch a volleyball once a year—and only because of Volley4Sound! You’re here purely for the cause, not the competition. Most players don’t know what CBVA is, and the game usually looks like “jungle ball” with the ball going over on one. Zero pressure, just laughs and fun.
A Division
For recreational players who have some experience, can pass the ball, and have at least heard of CBVA. Most players fall around the B, BB, or A level. You’ve got decent ball control and enjoy a competitive match, but you’re not quite ready for the intensity of AA.
AA Division
This division is for strong, competitive players who regularly play in CBVA or other tournaments. You have solid ball control—pass, set, and hit with consistency. Many players here have AA ratings, or could play Open, but choose to stick to AA for a competitive yet more balanced experience (sometimes to avoid the “slaughter” of the Open level or to play with friends from lower divisions).
Open Division
The highest level of play. Designed for elite players who compete at the AAA or Open level. If you want the toughest matchups and highest level of competition, this is your division.
5. Q. How do I register?
A. Check out the registration tab to see when the registration link will go LIVE for each event. Set a reminder now! Captains can sign up for the team. Have a team name at the time of registration. Please click on the Registration tab for more details.
6. Q. What are the rules?
A. Each game is played to (21) points. Win by 2 points. Each team must wear earplugs that are provided to them on the day of the event during pool play. No open hand receive on serves and no open hand tip.
7. Q. What is the Celebrity/Pro player auction?
A: It's where all the celebrities/professional volleyball players will be announced at 9am before the tournament begins. Each teams in any division may bid on players. Highest bidder can use the celebrity/pro to help improve their game. Proceeds from the auction go towards non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
8. Q. What time is check in?
A: Check in starts at 8am. We'll start replacing teams by 8:35am if your team is not present. Event will start at 9am sharp.
